AARON SCIFORD, Senior Pastor

Pastor Aaron Sciford is First Baptist Alameda's newly called Pastor starting in April of 2017.

Pastor Aaron was born in Denver, CO and grew up in Omaha, NE. He came to faith at the age of eighteen through the ministry of the First Baptist Church of Omaha. Shortly after his conversion to Christ he accepted the call to ministry. For the past twenty-five years Aaron has served churches in Nebraska and Illinois and was most recently working in healthcare ministry as a hospice chaplain in South Suburban Chicago.

Aaron’s focus in ministry is on spiritual formation through discipleship. He is a teaching pastor who embraces a shepherding model of ministry, believing that people matter most.  On the personal side Aaron is the father of four adult children who live, study and work in Michigan, Illinois and Missouri. He enjoys fitness and the great outdoors.

DEBON CALIXTO, Praise and Worship Director

Debon has been church's Praise and Worship Director since 1992. Our church enjoys a contemporary worship style with many traditional influences.

Debon is highly committed to the quality and spirituality of both his and everyone's Worship experience and believes Worship is the place to come as you are and show your love for a God who is and always will love us.

He is married to Jeanette, they have two children, Courtney and Jaydon, and two adorable granddaughters, Liliana and Camila.

DONNA LEON, Office Administrator

Donna is our Office Administrator and joined our staff in June 2017. She and her husband both live in Alameda on their sail boat. Donna is semi-retired after a long career in Dental Office management.

Donna became a Christian in 1975 and attended Calvary Chapel in Capistrano Beach for many years. During that time, she served in several ministries including women's studies, Sunday School, and the Worship team. Donna loves to meet new people and help you in any way she can. She adds a professional touch to our staff and will always greet you with a smile.

NICK ECONOMOS, Church Custodian

Nick is our Custodian and works hard to make sure everyone feels welcome on Sundays and is always at the ready to help in any way he possibly can. We all know we can rely on Nick to do his job well and fix any problems anyone notices.
